The world’s greatest challenges can be solved when all minds are at the table to innovate and belong.
Ten years ago 100Kin10 launched in response to President Obama’s call to solve one of our country’s most pressing challenges–giving kids a great STEM education by preparing 100,000 excellent STEM teachers. What started with 28 organizations grew to a coalition of over 300, including thousands of brilliant thinkers and leaders. Together they helped to prepare 108,000 STEM teachers for America’s classrooms, achieving their goal. Now it was time to articulate the next moonshot goal and identity.
Beyond100K unites leaders to create lasting change in STEM education. Because one STEM teacher can transform a life. But 150,000 diverse and powerful STEM teachers will transform our country — and beyond. Waypoint Collective helped develop the new brand narrative, along with visual identity and modernized look and feel, to tell the story of this next chapter with compelling and memorable messages and assets.
Building off of the strong reputation and brand equity of 100Kin10, we conducted in depth discovery process, engaging with 100Kin10 partners, staff and constituents. From this we launched a new name, brand positioning and visual identity, Beyond100K - the next chapter for this incredible coalition.
We also created a toolkit, rollout communications recommendations, a business suite and more to aide Beyond100K as they announced their new name and moonshot goal to their coalition of partners and the STEM community.
We tapped into the passionate and diverse network of Beyond100K supporters and brand ambassadors to develop a short video looking at the past, the present and the future of the organization, through the eyes of those who will carry this work forward.
