The Big Idea
Empowering Denver’s communities to live better, longer.
The Opportunity
Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE) empowers Denver’s communities to live better through services and opportunities that extend to the people, animals, businesses, parks, schools and much more to make Denver a vibrant city. After providing critical COVID-19 support to the greater Denver area, DDPHE’s Annual Report needed to reflect the holistic programming that encompasses a unified public health department.
The Solution
Waypoint Collective wrote and designed an Annual Report that reflected DDPHE’s holistic approach to public health and the accomplishments of the 2021-2022 fiscal year. The annual report pushed the traditional DDPHE brand into a more modern and vibrant space and focused on the people who work for the city and the community members impacted by public health services. The resulting publication offered greater clarity about how DDPHE supports healthy communities through diversity, integrity, accountability, transparency, collaboration and teamwork.
The Creative
Waypoint pulled colors from the city’s existing branding to introduce new graphic elements that compliment updated photography, focusing on DDPHE’s diverse staff and the people they serve. Read the full report here.
