The Big Idea
Illuminating the trust, expertise and custom solutions that define a national leader in fundraising strategy.
The Opportunity
Make Philanthropy Work (MPW) Principals Matt and John had for years been helping organizations develop transformational and sustainable fundraising plans and campaigns. But, like many experts whose focus is on the client, their own brand had yet to reflect the expertise, results and innovative practices they brought to the table.
The Solution
Waypoint Collective conducted discovery with the MPW team, as well as a competitive analysis of the landscape of fundraising strategy firms, and crafted positioning that defined their unique differentiators and offerings. We emphasized the custom nature of their approach, and their commitment to creating long-term sustainable solutions, rather than short-term flash in the pan offerings. We also leaned into their outside-the-box and blended approach combining the best-proven tactics from inside and outside the fundraising world with fresh, innovative thinking.
The Creative
The identity uses established colors that evoke expertise and trust, with a mark that speaks to their brand promise of powering the future of fundraising.

The Creative
The creative extension uses bright and optimistic colors, as well as patterns that speak to the sustainability and longevity of the MPW solutions, all extended into their new website. Explore makephilanthropywork.com.
